This is a beautiful and effective mat! I had good grip with doing yoga (better than my older mat- i really like the material that helps with gripping!)
There is an odor- but I aired it outside when I got it and that helped. It did not detract from the great workout I had with using it!

Not only is this mat aesthetically beautiful, it is beautifully constructed to withstand a super sweaty practice. I’ve been practicing for many years and I’ve tried dozens of mats. This is hands-down my favorite.
